Community Garden Coordinator - Part Time - Stratford Upon Avon
Are you passionate about gardening, nature and people? Would you like to work in Stratford upon Avon for an award winning Social Enterprise
designing and managing a brand new urban community garden?
We plan to turn an unloved piece of ground into a thriving Community Garden providing opportunities for the local community to learn about gardening, food growing and environmental issues.
We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and passionate gardener to work alongside the local community to design and develop a new Community space and to create an exciting programme of garden activities, environment sessions, talks and events. It’s a blank canvass and so you must have the ability to plan and manage projects, working under your own initiative to tight deadlines.
It is essential that you have experience of working with communities and can demonstrate how you have managed successful community projects, particularly those with a gardening, food growing and/or environmental focus.
The ability to build strong partner relationships and to enthuse others to come onboard the project is key. You will be creative, idea driven and flexible in your working arrangements.
